About the Author
Jermaine Rolle is a poet and author whose work explores the emotional depth of human relationships and life experiences. From a young age, he developed a passion for poetry, using words as a way to express love, heartbreak, reflection, and personal growth.
In 2015, he published his first poetry collection, Cries of a Poetic Soul, a heartfelt exploration of the beauty and complexity of relationships. Choosing the path of self-publishing, Jermaine invested in his own vision and shared his authentic voice with readers who connect with honest and emotional poetry.
Beyond writing, Jermaine has a strong commitment to creating opportunities for others. In 2012, he founded the Centerville Urban Renewal Poetry Competition, a program dedicated to encouraging young poets and giving them a platform to showcase their talent.
Inspired by the success of this initiative, he later expanded his vision by creating the Bahamas Poetry Competition, a national platform designed to inspire creativity and give poets of different age groups the chance to share their voices.
Through his writing and community efforts, Jermaine Rolle continues to celebrate the power of poetry and its ability to inspire, connect, and uplift.
